The Barrett-Jackson auction in Scottsdale, Arizona, will host a special edition of one of the most iconic muscle cars ever, the Ford Mustang, which was made by Galpin Auto Sports with SPX Corporation.
Even though it is American and it’s powered by a 5.0 liter V8 engine it’s not developing 200 horsepower, or 300, or even 500. The Galpin Auto Sports Mustang is producing a whopping 700 horsepower from the “small” 5.0 liter unit.
The special edition of the Mustang was taken to a whole new level with upgrades like Comp Cams camshafts, a Ford Racing supercharger or a Bassani exhaust system. I can’t believe I said that earlier, 700 horsepower from an American V8.
As you probably know already, massive rims are a “must” on every special edition so all of you rappers out there get to the auction because the Galpin Auto Sports Mustang has 21 and 22 inch Forgiato alloys, wrapped in Pirelli P-Zero tires.
If we talked about rappers we shouldn’t forget movie stars because all of the sales at the Barrett-Jackson auction will go to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, so besides buying a hot car your bids will also go to a very worthy cause.
