The German tuning specialists from GeigerCars have officially introduced a supercharger upgrade for the Ford Mustang GT, in the European version.
The new generation of the Ford Mustang GT, in its Euro-spec, has recently received a series of upgrades which have been signed by GeigerCars, this time. The model in question is coming with the so-called GT Performance Package, adding the beefier springs for the front suspension, the stability control system, the Brembo brakes, the upgraded cooling system, the 3.73:1 final drive ratio with Torsen limited slip differential, Shaker Pro sound system, sports seats signed by Recaro and several other goodies.
As we all know, the standard version of the 2015 Ford Mustang GT has a 4.0 liter naturally aspirated V8 engine under its hood, which is capable of putting down 421 HP (309 kW) and 530 Nm (390 lb-ft) of torque. But GeigerCars has added a supercharger upgrade which is allowing the unit to produce a total output of 709 HP (521 kW) and 706 Nm (521 lb-ft) of torque. The 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint has dropped significantly from 4.8 seconds to 3.9 secodns and top speed has now increased to 305 km/h (190 mph). The supercharger kit can be yours from 18,900 euros and you can also have the 30 mm lowering springs from 1,250 euros, the stainless steel sports exhaust system with valve control for 3,900 euros or the updated front and rear anti-roll bars at 650 euros. The total cost of the car equipped with all these items is 82,900 EUR.
