Ford is planning to introduce the new Mustang GT350 during the Circuit of Americas, at the Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge, in Austin, Texas, on the 19th of September. The model in question is still under development and the race broadcast announcers of the 2014 Indianapolis Motor Speedway said that it will go on sale next year but it will be shown on the track next month. This basically means that it will be unveiled at the event mentioned above but it remains unknown whether this will come as a prototype or the entire car will be unveiled.
The Ford Mustang GT350 has been caught on camera numerous times by our spy photographers. Rumors are saying that it will be packing a more potent version of the 5.0 liter V8 naturally aspirated engine, which will produce more than the 435 HP and 541 Nm of torque available in the current Mustang GT. The Mustang GT350 will go on sale in 2016 and it will be faster and more expensive than the Mustang GT. More details on it remain unknown for the moment.
