New renderings with the 2015 Ford Mustang are showing us what the model may look like in yet another body style, that of a hatchback.
Muscle cars is a term familiar to us, even muscle sedans, but we haven’t heard about muscle hatchbacks until now and since the automotive industry keeps on evolving, chances are such a vehicle may come out sometimes in the future, but don’t expect it any time soon. The two photos posted below have been signed by Theophilus Chin and are simple renderings at the moment which meant initially to provide us with a Shooting Brake version of the muscle car but ended up looking more like a hatchback.
The new generation of the Ford Mustang has been officially unveiled last year and it recently arrived on the Old Continent where the model can also be ordered. Over-seas, the new Mustang is coming with a 3.7 liter V6 engine for the base entry-level version, which is producing 300 HP (223 kW) and 379 Nm (280 lb-ft). This has been left out from the European lineup where the cheapest one is packing the 2.3 liter four-cylinder EcoBoost unit, with 310 HP (231 kW) and 433 Nm (320 lb-ft) of torque. The range topping model is still the 5.0 liter V8, on both continents, which is producing a total output of 435 HP (324 kW) and it has a peak torque of 541 Nm (400 lb-ft). The cheapest Mustang coupe costs 23,600 USD in the U.S. and it can go up to 32,100 USD for the Mustang GT.
