The Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 Convertible is looking even better than the model already unveiled in Los Angeles.
The first renderings with the new Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 are showing the model in a new body style, a convertible. The company has already unveiled it, in a coupe body style, just last week, during the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show, in a premiere, and it hasn’t announced its plans of putting such a variant into production. The two images posted below have been signed by Theophilus Chin but keep in mind that this may never see daylight.
The new Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 Convertible is packing in a naturally aspirated 5.2 liter V8 engine, which is capable of producing at least 500 HP and more than 400 lb-ft of torque, as the company has recently announced. This is connected to a standard 6-speed manual transmission and a Torsen limited slip differential. Power is being sent to the rear wheels. The muscle car has received an aerodynamic body kit which can identify it as a Shelby, Brembo brakes, 19-inch alloy wheels with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires, Recaro sport seats, unique gauges, dual-zone climate control, MyTouch Ford infotainment and several other tweaks.
