Our spy photographers have managed to capture on camera the 2016 Ford Mustang SVT / GT350 while it was being tested on the famous German track, the Nurburgring.
After announcing the production start of the 2015 Ford Mustang just a day ago, the 2016 Mustang SVT / GT350 is being placed into the spotlights as the model in question has been recently caught on camera, while it was being tested out, on the Nurburgring. The muscle car has been wrapped in a distinctive diamond camouflage and it will be a high performance model which will get a ventilated hood and an aerodynamic body kit, with a four tailpipe exhaust system.
The new 2016 Ford Mustang SVT / GT350 will be developed by the Special Vehicle Team (SVT) and this can drop its Shelby name. As far as the engine goes, the muscle car in question remains a mystery for the moment but rumors are saying that this might use some upgraded versions of the 5.0 liter V8 which is currently found on the Mustang GT. More details on the vehicle pictured below are limited for the moment and will probably be announced during the 2015 NAIAS in Detroit, when it’s expected to be unveiled.
