Ford has created a special edition of the previous Mustang generation which has been recently introduced to Japan.
The new generation of the Ford Mustang may have been officially unveiled just a few months ago, but that doesn’t mean that the previous one is good for the scrap yard, as the car manufacturer wants to prove. The images posted below are representing the so-called Ford Mustang V8 GT Coupe The Black Special Edition, which has been recently introduced in Japan. The weird part of this is that the model in question is actually based on the previous version of the muscle car.
The Ford Mustang V8 GT Coupe The Black Special Edition is coming in a series of just 40 units and it has received a jet black exterior finish, black accents on the 19-inch alloy wheels, a black theme in the cabin, a glass roof and some other tweaks. Power to the muscle car is being provided by a 5.0 liter V8 engine, which is producing 426 HP (313 kW) and 529 Nm (390 lb-ft) of torque, mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. Prices for the model have been set at 5,05 million Yen, which is the equivalent of 50,000 USD. The Ford Mustang V8 GT Coupe The Black Special Edition will go on sale on the 15th of March.
