Recently, Paul Flanagan, Ford’s Global Sales manager, inaugurated the Global Sales Strategy office in Chennai, India, which part of the Ford Business Services Center.
The Global Sales Strategy office focuses on production programs, demand planning volumes, and acts as a link between the Sales organization and the various Business Units (BUs) for the Global Marketing.
“This group is crucial to delivering the growth strategies around the world and builds on the excellent work that is already being done by the Business Units. We will go further to provide greater transparency to global issues, a more detailed analytical breakdown of global demand trends, and enhance coordination and synergy across the Business Units,” said Flanagan.
The official ribbon was cut by Paul Flanagan and Joginder Singh, executive director, Global Business Services, both received garlands made of dried sandalwood flowers and a turban. Singh expressed his confidence that India is the perfect choice for Ford’s plan to enhance the value of the company in the near future. Aditya Mavillapalli, manager, Medium Term Demand Risk also declared that India has a lot of talent and highly skilled workforce to offer, therefore this team will successfully represent the Business Units.
