The engine lineup of the new Ford Ranger Wildtrak includes the 2.2 liter four-cylinder Duratorq TDCi diesel engine, which is capable of putting down a total output of 160 HP (118 kW) and 385 Nm (283 lb-ft) of torque, or the larger 3.2 liter Duratorq TDCi five-cylinder unit, capable of coping with 200 HP (147 kW) and 470 Nm (346 lb-ft) of torque. This is connected to a six-speed automatic transmission and it has a four-wheel drive system with an electronic locking rear differential. Ford hasn’t announced its plans at the time for a global launch of this model.
