Ford Reveals Sporty Fiesta Zetec S
At next week’s British Motorshow Ford will unveil the sporty Fiesta Zetec S joining the already announced Focus RS. Ford of Britain’s marketing director, Mark Ovenden, said: “Fiesta has always stood for fun and Zetec S delivers this with a capital ‘F’. Lively performance and sporty styling mean it looks great and goes as well as it looks.”
The new range-topping model will be powered by either the new Duratec Ti-VCT petrol engine producing 120PS (118 Horsepower) or a 1.6-litre 90PS Duratorq TDCi. The Fiesta Zetec S is capable of accelerating from standstill to 62mph in 9.9 seconds and it can reach a top speed of 120mph.
Driving dynamics of the vehicle are enhanced with a lowered sports tuned suspension kit and a deeper front bumper, side mouldings and rear spoiler. Five-spoke, 16in alloy wheels, projector headlamps, front fog lamps help complete the sporty look.
The Fiesta Zetec S will be launched in the UK this Autumn, pricing will be announced next week.
