Ford to debut the Tourneo Courier at the Geneva motor show
Ford Motor Company announced it will launch the new Tourneo Courier minivan the Geneva Motor Show next month.
The carmaker said Friday in a statement that the vehicle will have its global debut March 5 at the show in Switzerland. Ford is also planning to showcase in Geneva the European version of its all-new EcoSport compact SUV.
First seen during Ford’s “Go Further” brand event in the Netherlands last year, the new Tourneo Courier minivan uses the carmaker’s Global B platform that is also used by the Fiesta and B-MAX. The car will go on sale next year.
Alongside the Tourneo Courier, Ford will also display the Transit Courier, which is the commercial version of the Tourneo Courier. The Transit Courier is a panel van that has no rear seats and side windows.
Ford’s European division will also display its full new family of Tourneo people-carriers. The U.S. carmaker will offer full details of the new models at the Geneva motor show.
