The North American based automaker Ford has recently pulled the wraps off its latest creation, the Mustang GT U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds Edition.
According to the car manufacturer, the brand new 2014 Ford Mustang U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds Edition is actually a one-off version of the popular muscle car, which will be auctioned in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, on the 1st of August, during the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA). The model in question has been designed to celebrate 60 years of U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds and the model is coming with some interesting updates, compared to the standard car.
From these upgrades we can definitely mention the blue exterior inspired from the one of the Thunderbirds F-16 Falcons, the wide body kit, the painted belly pan, the glass roof or the 22-inch Forgiato wheels. Images with the interior design of the 2014 Ford Mustang U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds Edition haven’t been released just yet but the carmaker says that this has received Recaro seats, a new instrument cluster, unique sill plates, a revised navigation screen and more. The one-off muscle car is also getting features like a sport-tuned suspension system, a supercharged and Brembo braking system.
