The brand new Ford Everest Concept has been officially revealed and the model is previewing a future seven-seater SUV which is said to go on sale in a couple of years.
Ford’s newest creation in terms of SUVs is named the Everest and this is actually a concept vehicle designed to offer a preview on a future production version, which will go on sale in 2015. The new Ford SUV will come with seven seats and it will compete with models like the Holden Colorado in Australia.
“This is our vision for a large, seven-seat off-road SUV to allow our customers to take on the world and it was created by our world-class design team here in Australia. We believe our customers will love the distinctive design, which clearly showcases the Ford Everest Concept’s exceptional off-road capability and toughness”, said the Ford chief operating officer, Mark Fields.
The upcoming Ford Everest, in its final production version, should become a vehicle to take on long family trips and because of its seven-seat layout, the model is expected to become quite popular with Australians.
