Just before the IAA 2013 steals all the headlines, a different kind of show takes place in Berlin: the IFA consumer electronics show that starts on September 6th. There, Ford has prepared a surprise, in the form of a newly developed technological concept.
As Ford’s own Motor Company President and CEO Alan Mulally will deliver a keynote address Sept. 6 at the IFA consumer electronics show in Berlin, besides the official statements and announcements an important reveal was quite in order.
So, next to Mulally’s keynote that will highlight Ford’s commitment to leading a new era of connected driving and how it is leveraging technology to deliver a safer, more convenient driving experience, the company’s CEO and President will unveil a concept.
The all-new Ford concept vehicle promises to come with significant breakthrough technology features. As you can see, the details are scarce and vague, as the company declined to reveal any pictures or even sketches. Still, from what the CEO will talk about, we can safely assume the concept will have some interesting infotainment and safety systems.
Ford also will provide at IFA berlin an update on plans for bringing Ford SYNC with AppLink to market later this year, including an update on app development partners.
