Getting a supercar – even a used one – is a hustle in real life, as it usually involves spending a chunk load of money, but thankfully we have the virtual world where dreams may come true… a bit cheaper.
You still have to pay for your original copy of the Forza Horizon 3 game, but now gamers can rejoice because the Duracell-themed 2016 GTA Spano is up for grabs without any hidden cost. Next to the Tata Racemo sports car concept that is currently being showcased at the Geneva Motor Show, the 2016 GTA Spano was also added free of charge to the Forza Horizon’s 3 virtual garage last week. The V10-powered Spanish supercar is actually dressed up in a Duracell livery as it became available in the Xbox Store – where you can find it by searching “Forza Horizon 3 GTA Spano”.
By the way, you’re getting the latest Spano – the version updated a couple of years ago at the Geneva Motor Show. It was billed as a “totally new” car, and manufacturing will be limited to a series of 99 cars. All carry a great biturbo 8.0-liter engine with 925 horsepower (690 kilowatts) and 900 pound-feet (1,220 Newton-meters) of torque, all power sent to the rear wheels via a seven-speed sequential gearbox. By the way, the livery comes courtesy of the “Duracell Car Pack,” which also includes the 2017 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, 2015 Jaguar XE S, 1992 Ford Falcon GT, 1983 Volvo 242 Turbo Evolution, 1995 Nissan NISMO GT-R LM, 1959 BMW 507 and 1972 Land Rover Series III.
