The new motoring game is coming in as a wide release on September 27 – although some lucky gamers will get to experience it starting the 23. In addition, the developers have prepared a surprise.
Aside from over 350 real-world vehicles, the revered Warthog from the Halo franchise is also available for players – with the off-roader being free for anyone who already has certain Halo titles. The all-terrain buggy should thus be well prepared to tackle the digital recreation of the Australian Outback. That’s because it has a virtual 720-horsepower biturbo V8 and will be free for those already owning Halo 5: Guardians or Halo: The Master Chief Collection. The developer has also decided that other players should get to experience it and there’s a competition coming out in October.
Forza Horizon 3’s is anyways incredible in terms of vehicle selection so even without the Halo Warthog anyone should feel connected to at least one vehicle in the game. There’s anything from stupid models such as the three-wheel Reliant Supervan III to incredible hypercars like the Lamborghini Centenario. The Australian Outback is of course pretty much geared towards off-roading, so there are plenty of choices in that department as well. The Forza Horizon 3 is available for Xbox and Windows 10.
