Forza Motorsport 7 will bring back the Forza Edition supercars image

First seen in the Forza Horizon 3 installment, the special cars feature are back to add some panache to the appreciated racing title – with the special series headlined by Ford’s GT.

The hotly anticipated Forza Motorsport 7 is coming out on October 3 for the Xbox One and PC, followed by the Xbox One X version being unwrapped on November 7 – and the team behind this installment is quite busy. According to Turn 10 Studios, this is the penultimate update regarding car announcements, with fans happy to find out that Forza Edition cars will also be introduced here, just like it happened in Forza Horizon 3. These models will feature special liveries, custom wide body kits and bespoke wheels to make them stand out when compared to the standard versions depicted in the game.

For now just five cars are part of the Forza Edition series – all customized by the folks working on the highly successful franchise – 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Super Sport Forza Edition, 2013 Ram Runner Forza Edition, 2012 Nissan GT-R Forza Edition, 2014 BMW M4 Forza Edition, and the 1992 Ford Escort RS Forza Edition. All of them will be unlockable as rewards through the Forza Drivers Cup single player campaign or in the Forzathon events – as well as in the Auction House. They are also available first hand via the VIP Car Pack inside the Deluxe and Ultimate editions of Forza 7.
