The BMW M3 Coupe from the E92 generation is still a menacing ride to compete with – on the street or racetrack – and tuners still indulge in powerful modification kits to make it even more compelling.
But then again this is not the case today with the BMW M3 Coupe that visited German wrapping specialist Fostla.de, which opted for the E92 generation model that ceased production almost three years ago. That’s because there’s a big client base out there, with more than 40,000 units sold through the generation’s life. Fostla has opted on a black chrome body wrap, with the process also involving tinted headlights, taillights, and windows for a complete, sinister appearance. The renowned kidney grille has the M colors to remind us what we’re dealing with and we also noticed the black hood and sporty side stripes that look to wrap up the exterior changes in a big way.
The example we see here is also treated to an aftermarket body kit from Carbonfiber Dynamics for an enhanced aerodynamic appearance. This one comes with a modified vented hood, a beefy front spoiler lip, prominent side skirts, and a big rear spoiler lip. The end of the car is also adorned with a black finish for the exhaust’s quad tips. The changes are complimented via the 20-inch Breyton alloys with powder-coated finish and the suspension lowering kit. All the upgrades will set you back a mere €14,000 (around $16,000). That’s because the power credentials have been left untouched, we have an unmodified naturally-aspirated 4.0-liter V8 delivering 420 horsepower (313 kW) for a sprint time of 4.4 seconds to 62 mph (100 km/h).
