Volkswagen has just released first photos and details of the four-door Up! model.
Orders will start from 6 March when the car is officially launched at the Geneva motor show, and it’s expected hit the roads in Germany during May, with other European countries following in the following months.
As expected, the vehicle gets the 1.0-liter I-3 engine producing either 60 or 75 hp, depending on equipment level. The four-door version will also receive the same trim levels, which include take up!, move up!, high up!, black up!, and white up!.
Headroom in the rear is 947 mm, while it is 993 mm in front. Legroom in the second row is a comfortable 789 mm the automaker said in a statement. Just as important: there is plenty of space under the front seats for the feet of the rear passengers.
The four-door Up! starts at EUR10,325, which can be translated into an EUR475 increase over the price of the three-door model.
