Four units of the Ford EcoSport have been spied once again in India, where the model is getting ready to be launched soon.
Small convoy made out of the four Ford EcoSport vehicles has been spotted in Chennai, in a parking lot, and the models in question were finished in Savannah Orange, Sea Gray and Bright Yellow. The Ford EcoSport will be soon launched in India and it will be followed shortly by an arrival of the model in Thailand. The Ford EcoSport is going on sale against models like the Nissan Juke, the Opel / Vauxhall Mooka, the Peugeot 2008 and other models in the segment.
We don’t know what engines Ford will use on the EcoSport in India but on the Old Continent, the model is coming with a 1.6 liter four-cylinder petrol engine, which is producing a total output of 113 HP and 115 lb-ft of torque. The model is able to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 11.9 seconds before reaching a top speed of 112 mph. Other units available are the 1.0 EcoBoost, the 1.5 TiVCT, the 2.0L and the 1.5L Duratorq TDCI. Additional details on the Indian Ford EcoSport are limited for the moment.
