Ford Performance Vehicles (FPV) has officially pulled the wraps off the limited edition GT F which is available only in Australia.
Manufacturing facilities owned by Ford will be shut down in Australia in October 2016 but that didn’t stop FPV to officially unveil the new GT F Limited Edition, which is only available, in a limited number, in the Pacific country and in New Zealand. The model in question has received the suspension setup from the GT RSPEC and it will become available in five body paints, with a logo and stripe print. The cabin will be getting a G-force sensor as standard and the vehicle will be riding on 19-inch alloy wheels, wrapped in Dunlop Sport Maxx 275/35 tires.
The new FPV GT F Limited Edition is getting a 5.0 liter V8 supercharged engine under its hood, which is producing a total output of 477 HP (351 kW) and it has a peak torque of 570 Nm (420 lb-ft). The ECU has been remapped and with the overboost activated, the unit is good for approximately 549 HP (404 kW). The model in question will be produced in 550 units, 500 for Australia and 50 for New Zealand and it will be priced from 77,990 AUD once it will go on sale.
