At the Frankfurt Motor Show, Chevrolet will unveil the popular Camaro for the European market. The Camaro coupe and convertible will go on sale in Europe in September 2011, with prices starting at €38,990 (coupe) and €43,990 (convertible), respectively (German retail price).
Equip with features such as remote engine start, wireless cell phone link, USB port, and satellite radio the new 2011 chevy camaro seems to have it all.
Camaro wears body styling inspired by the 1969 model. LS, 1LT, 2LT, 1SS, and 2SS trim levels return, though the convertible is not offered as an LS. Two engines are available–a V6 and a V8. The V6 is a 3.6-liter unit that produces 312 horsepower, an increase of eight over the 2010 model.
The V8 engine is a 6.2 liter, and produces 400 horsepower. Both versions are available in either manual or automatic transmission. The horsepower of the 2011 chevy camaro increases with the manual transmission to 426.
Chevrolet will also be highlighting the 1.3-liter turbo-diesel Aveo in Frankfurt. The 95 hp Eco variant emits 95 g of CO2/km while the 75 hp variant powers Europe’s most fuel-efficient sedan according to the automaker.
