The new generation of the Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG has been officially presented to the public during the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show.
One of the hottest versions of the new Mercedes-Benz S-Class generation, the S63 AMG, has recently made its public debut, during the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show. The model in question has been already unveiled, a couple of months ago, and it will become available for order in the United Kingdom this November, for a starting price of 119,565 GBP. The cost can go up by another 2,760 GBP if you order the Driver’s Package, which will remove its top speed and enable it to reach 300 km/h (186 mph), instead of the standard 250 km/h (155 mph).
An extra 5,000 GBP can be spent on the AMG Exterior Carbon Package while the AMG high-performance ceramic composite braking system can be yours for 7,090 GBP more. Standard features found on the model include the tire pressure monitoring system, the panoramic sunroof, the ambient lighting or the Burmester audio system. The 2014 Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG is powered by a 5.5 liter V8 twin turbo engine, which is producing a total output of 585 HP (436 kW) and 900 Nm of torque (664 lb-ft). This is enough to allow the powerful luxury sedan to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.4 seconds, before reaching the above mentioned top speed.
