With outstanding performance and a price to measure, Brabus models are quite literally some of the best Mercedes-Benz in the world. The German tuner has brought a vast array of models to the IAA to demonstrate its prowess.
Two of the newest models from the Stuttgart manufacturer are fresh on display on the Brabus booth – the CLA and A Class. Also, Brabus still offers the smart Ultimate 120 model.
The new A Class has been gaining a lot of attention from the sport fans, as the compact model has graduated from an MPV style to a new generation, with classic hatchback flavour. The dynamic stance of the new design language from Mercedes gets the up treatment from Brabus, with their usual vast array of modifications.
A more restrained treatment has been applied to the CLA model, but enhancements still affect the design, the powertrain and the engines, thanks to the PowerXtra kit, that enables – for example – the CLA 250 to reach 245 hp (180 kW) and 385 Nm (284 lb-ft) of torque – an increase of 34 hp (25 kW) and 35 Nm (26 lb-ft) of torque.
