The Frankfurt Motor Show also brought on display two of the new versions for the highly popular Fiat 500 – the 500L Trekking and the 500L Living.
First up we have the 500L Living, which is essentially an extended length version of the standard 500L – now with room to accommodate up to seven passengers. The model has familiar styling and measures 435 cm long, 178 cm wide and 167 cm tall.
For the interior the most notable addition is the third row seat that appears to fold relatively flat. With it folded, 500L Living can brag about a best-in-class cargo capacity of 638 liters (22.5 cubic feet). The engine range consists of four choices, ranging from 85 to 105 hp.
The Fiat 500L Trekking expands the appeal and practicality of the Fiat 500L with distinct, rugged looks; an athletic two-tone interior environment; unique front and rear fascia designs, flared wheel arches and larger 17-inch wheels to support its adventurous personality. All 500L models are produced at FIAT Automobiles’ manufacturing plant in Kragujevac, Serbia.
