Jaguar has brought the new C-X17 crossover concept to the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, where the model has made its public debut.
The brand new Jaguar C-X17 Concept is offering a preview on a future production crossover, which will be signed by the British based automaker. The model in question is finished in Caesium Blue, with gloss black accents, plastic body cladding, LED headlights, taillights inspired by the F-Type and large 23-inch alloy wheels. The cabin of the model has four seats, two-tone leather upholstery, Meridian audio system, futuristic infotainment system, full-length console, two “leisure seats in the boot” and some other tweaks.
The Jaguar C-X17 Concept is riding on a modular platform which will also be used to underpin the future mid-size premium sedan, which will debut in 2015, the BMW 3-Series fighter. The carmaker didn’t announce any details on what is powering the crossover but we already know that the entry-level sedan will get a variety of engines and it will have a top speed in excess of 300 km/h (186 mph) and CO2 emissions of less than 100 g/km. Additional details on the model remain unknown for the moment but you can check out the photo gallery with it taken LIVE from the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show.
