After teasing it just weeks before the Frankfurt Motor Show, sick Seat finally decided to present its facelifted version of the Exeo, with the same A4 looks, coming in with a new modified front fascia, LED daytime running lights as standard for the Sports versions and new alloy wheels.
“The arrival of the Exeo marked Seat’s debut in a new hard-fought market segment, and the success of the fleet-friendly saloon and estate range is already clear. Now, with this great new look and impressive engineering changes, I’m sure the Exeo will draw crowds to both our Frankfurt show stand and, in due course, our UK dealerships”, said Peter Wyhinny, the Seat UK managing director, just before the German event.
The “new” Exeo takes its power from an efficient 2.0 TDI common rail diesel engine, coming with the new stop / start system and emitting just 129 g of CO2 per kilometer, pleasing its future UK owners who demand low emissions for their executive models.
The medium-sized sedan doesn’t offer too many changes on the facelifted version compared to the one currently found in dealerships and Seat is pretty cheap on offering extra details about it, but then again, maybe what the Spanish automaker said is just all it had to say about a dull car based on an old Audi A4.
