The French automotive media is announcing a new possible version of the Audi A3 Sedan and Audi S3 Sedan, the RS3 Sedan.
The brand new Audi A3 Sedan and S3 Sedan have been recently unveiled, but it seems that the German based automaker has some more plans for the two models. The S3 Sedan is rumored to receive an even more powerful version, which will be named the RS3 Sedan, and it will close the gap between the S3 and the competition at Mercedes-Benz, with the CLA45 AMG. The model hasn’t been confirmed yet but if it will hit the market, the RS3 Sedan is expected to get 408 HP out of its five-cylinder turbocharged engine, mated to a seven-speed dual clutch transmission.
As a quick reminder, the brand new Audi S3 Sedan is coming with modified bumpers, with aluminum mirror casings, with a trunk mounted spoiler, with a sport tuned suspension, with new side skirts and some other tweaks. The model is powered by a 2.0 liter TFSI engine, which is producing a total output of 300 HP (221 kW) and 380 Nm of torque (280 lb-ft). This is enough for a 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) acceleration of 5.3 seconds and a 250 km/h (155 mph) top speed. Prices of the S3 Sedan will be set at 25,000 EUR.
