The German automaker hasn’t finished presenting the all-new G Class generation just yet, it turns out – here’s a brighter shade of crimson adorning the icon to reveal its optional Night Package features.
The new Night Package is oddly not on offer with a black hue, but it does allow for the decoration of the vehicle with dark-tinted components such as the turn signals, taillights, and headlights – along with privacy-helping tinted glass for the cabin windows. Obsidian Black trim is used for the grille’s slats, small vertical sections of the bumpers, side mirror housings, and the surround for the spare tire carrier in the back. There are also matching accents on the A-pillars and around the roof, with the exterior looks completed with the use of a set of 20-inch multi-spoke wheels with darkened details.
At home in Germany the Night Package will only be offered in combination with the AMG Line. The all-new G Class may look just about the same as its predecessor – in keeping with tradition – but it has been thoroughly enhanced from the technical standpoint, while also receiving a complete makeover for the interior, where’s it’s up to snuff with the E and S Class models, for example.
