[FULL VIDEO] National Geographic’s Megafactories – Nissan GT-R
The Nissan GT-R has been the star of National Geographic’s Megafactories series and the documentary has recently hit the web.
National Geographic has taken us behind the scenes of a true Megafactory, the Nissan GT-R’s place of birth in Tochigi, Japan. The special episode has aired on the television channel on the 13th of December, at 7 p.m. ET, but if you’ve missed it, here’s your chance to view it, right after the jump, below.
As a quick reminder, the 2013 Nissan GT-R has a base starting price set at 96,820 USD in the United States and the sports car is coming with some interesting items compared to the previous model year, but the most important upgrade is the extra power offered by the V6 engine. According to the Japanese based automaker, the 2013 Nissan GT-R is still getting the 3.8 liter V6 unit which is now developing a total output of 545 HP, with a peak torque of 627 Nm (463 lb-ft), 15 HP and 15 lb-ft (20 Nm) more than the previous version.
