The future generation of the Renault Clio RS has been recently rendered after the all-new Clio has made its official debut.
The new generation of the Renault Clio, dubbed the “4” or the “2013”, is already here for a few days and the French based automaker has officially revealed it but this news is about the high performance version of the hatchback, the Clio RS, which is expected to be revealed sometimes this year. The 2013 Renault Clio RS can be previewed in the image above which is a speculative render by the guys at ps-garage.com.
The prototype version of the upcoming Renault Clio RS has been previewed at the Goodwood Festival of Speed last weekend and, just like the regular version of the French hatch, the model is getting a five-door body style and a front fascia inspired by the DeZir Concept. The next generation of the Renaultsport Clio won’t be available in a three-door body style and this is probably the most significant change, along with its new 1.6 liter turbocharged engine, which will replace the naturally aspirated 2.0 liter unit. The new engine is rumored to offer at least 200 HP. The new generation of the Renault Clio RS will be officially presented to the public during this year’s Paris Motor Show in September.
