A brand new rendering with the upcoming SUV design which will be created by Skoda has recently hit the web, offering us an idea on how the model may look like.
Details on the Czech based automaker creating a brand new SUV have been around for quite a few months now and the guys from DesignRM have taken advantage of the situation in order to visually imagine the model in question. The image posted above is a rendering which is showing a crossover with some plastic body cladding, a slightly lower roof and a familiar front fascia, but keep in mind that the model may look different once Skoda will officially pull the wraps off its body.
The new Skoda SUV is said to be a production version of the CrossBlue Concept and this will be riding on the popular MQB platform, which is used on the new A3, the new Leon or the new Golf. The model in question will be standing at approximately 4.6 meters in length and it will be offered in a configuration with either five or seven seats. The engine lineup is said to include four-cylinder units such as the 2.0 liter petrol or the 1.6 liter turbo diesel. The model is believed to hit the market sometimes in 2015.
