GAC GS4 officially shown, going to Detroit image

The Chinese car manufacturer GAC has officially introduced new images with the GS4, which will be making its public debut at NAIAS, in Detroit, next week.

In case you have been wondering what GAC is doing these days, the answer would be “fine, thanks, and the GS4”. I know that doesn’t make any logic and that we shouldn’t take this model seriously because no one in its right mind will place an order for it outside the Asian continent, but the truth is that the car manufacturer has decided to officially pull the wraps off its body at the 2015 NAIAS, in Detroit, which will be opening its gates on Monday.

The images posted below are showing the real deal as they have been released by the Chinese company and they are showing the “high performance compact sport utility vehicle”, as the model has been described. Speaking of the model, you instantly notice the large chrome front grille, the gently sloping roofline, the dual exhaust system, the plastic body cladding, the chrome trim or the large alloy wheels.

GAC hasn’t released any more details on the new GS4 but previously, the carmaker has announced that this will become available with two engines, a 1.3 liter and a 1.5 liter, both of them turbocharged. As far as the performance of the model and how much this will cost, remain unknown at this time, but one thing is for sure, we will see it in Detroit, next week, as it will be making its public debut at the automotive event.
