The Ford Mustang Geiger GT 820 by its official name has been recently presented and while the power level is astonishing, the price is even more bonkers, costing about $124,570.
This is one ride that will never be inconspicuous as the Ford Mustang has been upgraded with a carbon fiber body kit that packs an open grille, a front splitter, and beefier side skirts. We also noticed the carbon fiber rear diffuser, the trunk-mounted spoiler, and 20-inch lightweight forged alloy wheels shod in high-performance Michelin tires. The custom fit can also be made even more unique via the bespoke paint job that will set back potential owners another €5,900 ($6,718).
The major modifications have been kept out of sight though – the 5.0-liter V8 engine has been fitted with a new crankshaft, forged pistons, and steel connecting rods. The aftermarket specialists at Geiger also added a cold air intake system, a stainless steel sports exhaust system, and a 2.9-liter supercharger. The results will be very impressive – power has gone up to 820 horsepower and 560 pound-feet of torque – which is massive compared to the stock level because it adds 385 hp and 160 lb-ft of torque.
Aside from the upgraded powertrain, the Mustang also has a sport tuned suspension and the GT Performance package which adds Brembo brakes, a limited-slip rear differential, and a 3.73:1 final drive ratio. Some of the components can also be ordered individually but the completed model seen in the gallery below will set back a potential buyer a cool €109,450 ($124,570).
