The tuning specialist has decided to base its latest work on the already powerful 991-series Porsche 911, and added even more power and a raft of other enhancements to deliver an aftermarket hypercar.
The company only decided to preview its work at this time so we’re probably looking at a short wait until the Geneva Motor Show kicks off at the beginning of March to hear all the juicy details. But at least we can be sure Gemballa Avalanche is something to look forward to. It will come with what looks like a full engine workout to deliver 809 horsepower and 700 pound-feet of torque – this is absolutely insane considering the regular 911 Turbo is short of the Avalanche by almost 300 horsepower – and in that configuration it still reaches 60 mph (96 km/h) in about three seconds.
The shots we have for now reveal lots of carbon fiber modding, a purple shade, some wings Gemballa CEO Steffen Korbach even added in the media release “they are also set to break some records.” He is not only talking about the Avalanche, but also about the Gemballa GTR 780 EVO-R, another work that will see the light of day during the Swiss event.
