Bentley has recently revealed the EXP 9 F SUV during the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, which has a huge potential of sitting alongside the Mulsanne and the Continental ranges.
The Bentley SUV, or the EXP 9 F as it is known, is finally here, and after teasing it a lot of times and with rumors coming and going, the model has been finally presented to the public at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, and even if this is actually a concept, the luxurious crossover has a huge potential of becoming the third Bentley model-line, besides the Mulsanne and the Continental.
“We are very excited by the potential of a high performance, ultra-luxury Bentley SUV. We know that many Bentley customers already own SUVs, admiring their style, luxury, performance and versatility. With EXP 9 F, Bentley is making a clear statement of intent that we have both the expertise and desire to meet and exceed their expectations”, as the chairman and chief executive of Bentley Motors, Wolfgang Durheimer, said.
According to the manufacturer, the EXP 9 F’s design characteristics have been inspired by the Blower Bentleys from the late 1920s, but the Bentley SUV is acutally a fusion of crafted luxury and advanced in-car technology, with a 6.0 liter twin turbo W12 engine, which is mated to an eight-speed transmission.
