The Fiat 500 America has been recently revealed during the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, and even if it wears the same name as the continent, the model won’t arrive on the over-seas market.
Besides the 500L which managed to attract quite a crowd, the Italian based automaker Fiat has also presented, during the same 2012 Geneva Motor Show, the 500 America model, which is coming with some interesting features, but considering the fact that it’s named the America and it has the US flag painted on its mirrors, the most interesting question I can think about right now is “who will buy it in Europe?”.
The Fiat 500 America is coming with an exclusive metallic paint-job, named the America Blue, but the small model will also come with a white paint-job, a red top and some blue rim edge on the alloy wheels. Both versions of the Fiat 500 America feature mirrors covered with the “Stars & Stripes” special graphics, some special stickers and a dedicated belt line. The limited edition of the model isn’t coming with any mechanical changes and only 1,000 units will be made, 500 coupes and 500 convertibles. More details on the Fiat 500 America will be announced close to its launch.
