Geneva: Ford B-Max unveiled image

The all-new Ford B-Max has been recently unveiled at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show in a world premiere.

After the North American based automaker Ford has recently announced that the all-new B-Max will be officially presented to the public at the Geneva Motor Show, the model has recently made its world debut. One of the most important features of the new MPV which is currently made in Craiova, Romania, is the missing B-pillar, which offers a wider access to the rear seats, but with the pillar being required for car safety, the Ford engineers had to integrate it into the rear sliding doors.

“The new Ford B-Max, revealed today (6th of March) at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, features a winning combination of unique design, unrivalled economy and what is among the most advanced small car technology in Europe”, as the automaker says in its official press release.

Under the hood, the all-new Ford B-Max is coming with four petrol and two diesel options, a three-cylinder EcoBoos 1.0 liter, which is developing 99 horsepower or 118 horsepower, a 1.4 liter Duratec, which is coming with 89 horsepower and a larger 1.6 liter Duratec unit, generating 104 horsepower. On the diesel side, we can find the 1.5 liter engine, which is developing 74 horsepower the 1.6 liter unit which is coming at 94 horsepower.
