The Italian based automaker Lamborghini is planning to introduce a front / mid engined model next month, during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show.
After starting its life as a simple rumor weeks ago and with the model being said to be a one-off supercar which will celebrate the company’s 50th anniversary, the new vehicle to be made by Lamborghini is entering our news once again, this time with new and interesting details. According to the guys at Autocar, the new Lamborghini supercar to be unveiled next month during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show will actually be the first step into creating a rival for the brand new Ferrari F12 Berlinetta.
The announcement has been made by the company’s chairman, Stephan Winkelmann, who said that the model will get a V12 engine under its hood, a front/mid-engined layout, two doors and two seats, just like Ferrari’s F12 Berlinetta. But unlike the model made in Maranello, the new supercar signed by Lamborghini will get the company’s four-wheel drive. The new Lamborghini supercar will be officially presented to the public during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, on the 5th of March, in a world premiere. The model in question will be a concept.
