The new generation of the Seat Leon SC has been officially unveiled during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, in a premiere.
After releasing a few images with the 2013 Seat Leon SC a few weeks ago, the new model is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the Spanish based automaker pulling the wraps off its body during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. The Seat Leon SC is the three-door version of the new Leon generation and the model is 4.23 meters long, with a wheelbase 35 mm shorter than the one found on its five-door variant.
The 2013 Seat Leon SC has been inspired by the IBE, IBL and IBX concept cars and it’s coming with the same suspension system used on the regular Leon. The engine lineup is also shared between the two models, and this includes units. ranging between 1.2 and 2.0 liter units with outputs varying from 105 HP (77 kW) and 184 HP (135 kW). A new version of the 2013 Seat Leon will be added later on this year, in the shape of an ST estate, and next year the carmaker will introduce the Cupra variants on all three body styles. More details on the new Leon SC are limited for the moment and will probably be announced close to its launch.
