The brand new Suzuki SX4 AllGrip has been officially presented to the public in a world premiere during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show.
The new C-Segment crossover made by Suzuki, the SX4, is now getting a new generation, which is larger and it’s offering more interior space than the outgoing one. The 2014 Suzuki SX4 is 4,300 mm long, 1,765 mm wide and 1,570 mm tall (17-inch wheels), compared to the size of the outgoing version of 4,135 mm in length, 1,755 mm in width and 1,565 mm in height. The wheelbase has also increased from 2,500 mm to 2,600 mm, and the boot capacity from 270 liters to 430 liters.
The new generation of the Suzuki SX4 will be produced in Hungary starting this autumn and it will come with a 1.6 liter petrol engine, mated to a five-speed manual transmission. The model will also get a 1.6 liter diesel engine, with a six-speed manual transmission. Optionally, future customers of the SX4 will be able to order a CVT. The 2014 Suzuki SX4 is also getting the all-wheel drive system, named the AllGrip. Additional details on the model are limited for the moment and will be announced close to its launch.
