Geneva Motor Show LIVE: 2014 Volvo V70, XC70 and S80

The Swedish based automaker Volvo has recently pulled the wraps off the 2014 V70, 2014 XC70 and 2014 S80, during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, in a premiere.

After pulling the wraps off their bodies just a few weeks ago, the “new” 2014 V70, XC70 and S80 are ending up in our news once again, this time with Volvo bringing them to the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. The three models mentioned above are facelifts.

“The new features in the new Volvo S80, V70 and XC70 are based on our human-centric approach, which has been a Volvo hallmark for more than 85 years. They take the elegant sophistication of our largest models to a new level”, said the senior VP of Product Strategy and Vehicle Line Management at Volvo Group, Lex Kerssemakers.

The 2014 Volvo S80 is coming with new front and rear bumpers, which have been designed in order to make the model look wider and lower, with new rectangular daytime running lights and with some other tweaks. Volvo says that the S80 facelift can be fitted with 19-inch wheels without losing its comfort.

The 2014 Volvo XC70 was also unveiled in Geneva and this model is getting a front grille, a new bigger ironmark, daytime running lights, matte silver touches, 19-inch wheels and more, including the improved off-road design cues like the skidplates.

Last but not least, the 2014 Volvo V70 is the obvious choice for the family man / woman and the model is being described by using words like the “first-class comfort” and “impressive”. The facelifted V70 is coming with a new rear bumper, tailpipes and some chrome details, along with the redesigned taillights and 19-inch wheels. More details on the three models will be announced close to their launch. Meanwhile you can check out the photo gallery posted below live from the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. Enjoy!
