The ABT Sportsline booth at the Geneva motor show hosted the world premiere of the AS6-R Avant, an extensively upgraded Audi S6 estate.
The VW Group-specialized aftermarket specialist tuned the Audi S6 Avant’s 4.0-liter engine using an optimised motor management (ABT POWER S) and a turbocharger and got 600 horsepower in the process. That is 180 horsepower more than the standard S6 and 40 horsepower more than even the Audi RS6!
Torque is also up from 550 Nm to 750 Nm, helping the ABT AS6-R Avant sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 3,9 seconds, almost 1 second faster than the standard S6 model. The high-performance estate also reaches a top speed of 310 km/h, as ABT removes the 250 km/h limiter of the S6.
Aesthetically, the AS6-R Avant gains a front skirt add-on, side skirt add-on and a rear spoiler, all made of exposed carbon. There’s also a sport-type exhaust system that produces a racing sound, while the car rides on huge ER-X 21-inch wheels that are weight-optimised. Naturally, the rims are shod with high-performance tyres.
