The famous Italian design company, Italdesign Giugiaro, has recently unveiled two of its latest creations, the Parcour Coupe and Parcour Roadster concepts, during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show.
According to its creators, the two versions of the Parcour Concept, the Coupe and Roadster, signed by Italdesign Giugiaro, have been in the Volkswagen Group’s portfolio ever since 2010, and they have finally managed to step up, with their public debut being during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. The two models are borrowing a few styling cues from cars such as Lamborghini and others owned by the VW Group.
The Italdesign Giugiaro Parcour Concept cars are powered by a 5.2 liter V10 engine, the same one used in the Lamborghini Gallardo, which is producing a total output of 550 HP (404 kW), mated to a double clutch seven-speed automatic transmission, which is sending power to the wheels, helping the models accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.6 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 320 km/h (199 mph). The Italdesign Giugiaro Parcour Concepts are 4,530 mm long, 2,070 mm wide and 1,335 mm tall, weighing 1,550 kg (3,417 lbs).
