Geneva Motor Show LIVE: Lancia Ypsilon Elefantino and S MOMODESIGN

The Italian based automaker Lancia has recently pulled the wraps off the Ypsilon Elefanino and Ypsilon S MOMODESIGN, during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, in a premiere.

With the Swiss automotive event keeping every major automaker out there busy, Lancia has tried to make an impression during the same event, but the model chosen can be named anything but successful. We’re talking about the Ypsilon, which has received two special editions named the Ypsilon Elefantino and the Ypsilon S MOMODESIGN.

The two special editions of the Lancia Ypsilon, the Elefantino and the S MOMODESIGN, have already been unveiled a few days ago, when the Italian based automaker has announced its plans to introduce them to the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. Lancia says that the Ypsilon S MOMODESIGN is coming with a choice of two-tone color schemes, like the Argilla Red, the Vulcano Black, the Zafira Blue, the Pietra Grey or the Matte Black, along with some tweaks to the cabin and the 15- or 16-inch alloy wheels.

The Lancia Ypsilon S MOMODESIGN is coming with a 1.2 liter Fire Evo II engine, with 69 PS, with the 1.2 Fire Evo II LPG, the 9.9 TwinAir with 85 PS or the 1.3 MultiJet II with 95 PS. The Lancia Ypsilon Elefantino is coming with all the engine options mated to manual transmissions. The Elefantino name was used back in 1953 by the legendary rally team. Additional details on the two limited editions of the Lancia Ypsilon remain unknown for the moment.
