The Nissan Resonance Concept has recently made its public debut on the Old Continent with the carmaker bringing it to the 2013 Geneva Motor Show.
After being officially presented to the public in a world premiere a couple of months ago, during the 2013 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit, the Nissan Resonance Concept is entering our news once again, this time with the carmaker bringing it to Europe too, where the model has been unveiled during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show.
“When the designers were first working on conceptualizing the Nissan Resonance, they were inspired by amazing scientific advancements in technology and material innovations. They also were inspired by the aspirations of those people who unabashedly embrace innovation and are optimistic about the future”, said Francois Bancon, the Nissan division general manager in Detroit.
According to the Japanese based automaker, the Nissan Resonance Concept is previewing the next generation of the Murano and the model is coming with a more athletic appearance, with a “floating” roof, an upgraded cabin and some other tweaks which will probably be adopted by the final production version. The Nissan Resonance Concept is coming with a hybrid powertrain, made out of a small-displacement internal combustion engine and an electric motor, mated to a CVT, sending power to the all-wheel drive. The Resonance has won the “Best Concept Award” a few months ago in Detroit.
