Geneva Motor Show seeing the Citroen C4 Cactus Rip Curl Edition image

The French automaker has decided to officially introduce the C4 Cactus Rip Curl Edition prior to the worldwide public debut taking place next week during the Geneva Motor Show.

The model – as the name implies – has been developed in collaboration with surfing sportswear company Rip Curl, with the limited series coming with minor stylistic changes such as body side graphics, white mirror caps, and white roof rails. The looks are rounded by the faux skid plates, Rip Curl badging, and 17-inch alloy wheels with Goodyear Vector 4Seasons tires. The launch series will have a five-color palette: Aden Red, Aluminum Grey, Mother-of-Pearl White, Obsidian Black, and Olive Brown – the exclusive Baltic Blue option will join the party later on this year. The cabin refresh includes the special edition as Mica Grey fabric seats, Pulp Orange accents, and Rip Curl branded floor mats. Owners will also have a special glove-box lid with straps and spikes. The model is based off the C4 Cactus Shine, coming with an infotainment system, automatic climate control system, a six-speaker audio system, GPS navigation, and a panoramic glass roof, etc.

Motivation will be provided thanks to a couple of engine options: PureTech 110 S&S and the BlueHDi 100, both available exclusively with a manual gearbox. The model also includes as standard the Grip Control system with five modes: Standard, Sand, Off-Road, Snow, and ESP Off. The Citroen C4 Cactus Rip Curl Edition will reach dealerships during the first half of the year and pricing will be announced later on.
