The colorful event in Switzerland is not only home to numerous mainstream world premiere – but also the recognized safe haven for all things exotic. So, it’s seemingly natural that such a brand won best stand in show.
The 2017 Geneva Motor Show is now over and Bugatti has revealed its stand won the award for best in show – a jury made out of communications and publicity specialists from the Club de publicité et de communication de Genève (CPG) were responsible for the voting, They said the low-volume hypercar manufacturer had the very best exhibition and thus entrusted it with the 14th creativity Award of the CPG.
It’s impressive when you think about the amount of money regular automakers pour into their stands and also the competition between exotic manufacturers to attract the attention of possible buyers. The Bugatti stand naturally had just one car – a 1,500-hp Chiron presented in a new exposed carbon fiber color nicknamed “Bleu Royal.” The automaker also received points for the attention to detail and the quality of the workmanship – the example on display is actually a customer-ordered car with a “Deep Blue” and “French Racing Blue” two-tone interior cabin. The client is said to have spent an entire day t Bugatti’s factory in Molsheim, France to see the hypercar being crafted to life – 1,800 individual parts are being plastered by just 20 Bugatti employees in about six months.
