Geneva: Porsche 911 Cabriolet, Panamera GTS, Panamera Diesel and Cayenne Diesel revealed image

The German based automaker Porsche has recently presented to the public, during the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, the 911 Cabriolet, the Panamera GTS, the Panamera Diesel and the Cayenne Diesel.

The new generation of the iconic 911 in its drop top version of the Carrera and Carrera S is once again placed into the spotlights at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, where Porsche has recently present it, along with several other models of the brand. Just like the coupe, the 911 Cabriolet is coming in the same versions, Carrera and Carrera S, where the Carrera is powered by a 3.4 liter flat-six engine, generating 350 HP and the Carrera S takes its power from the 3.8 liter flat-six, developing 400 HP. The Carrera Convertible can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.0 seconds, before hitting a top speed of 286 km/h, while the Carrera S Cabriolet is able to accelerate from a standstill to 100 km/h in 4.7 seconds and reach a top speed of 301 km/h.

After the Panamera GTS made its debut at the L.A. Auto Show, Porsche has decided to bring it to Geneva too, and the model is powered by a 4.8 liter naturally aspirated V8 engine, developing 30 HP more than the Panamera S/4S, and its torque figure also increased from 360 lb-ft to 384 lb-ft. Just like the Cayenne GTS and the 911 GTS before it, the Panamera GTS is getting a lower suspension (10 mm) with adjustable air springs, bigger brakes from the Panamera Turbo and a more powerful, higher-revving engine.

The Porsche Panamera Diesel is the most fuel efficient Panamera model, burning an average of just 6.5 liters of fuel every 100 km and emitting 172 g of CO2 per km. The Panamera Diesel is taking its power from a 3.0 liter V6 TDI engine which is developing 250 HP and 550 Nm of torque, mated to an eight-speed Tiptronic S, fitted with the stop/start system, which is sending power to the rear wheels.

Last but not least, the Porsche Cayenne Diesel was also presented at Porsche’s stand at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, powered by the VW-sourced 3.0 liter V6 engine which is producing 240 HP and 406 lb-ft. The model is delivering 20 mpg under city roads.
