The all-new Ford B-MAX has been placed into the spotlights once again at the same 2012 Geneva Motor Show with the company releasing a short promotional video with its new people carrier.
As you can see from the video posted below this article, the European division of Ford is trying to highlight its latest creation, the B-MAX, by talking about its design, features and the missing B-pillar, which offers a wide access to the rear seats, in a short promotional footage. But with the B-pillar being required for car safety, the Ford engineers had to integrate it into the rear sliding doors.
Under the hood, the all-new Ford B-Max is coming with four petrol and two diesel options, a three-cylinder EcoBoos 1.0 liter, which is developing 99 horsepower or 118 horsepower, a 1.4 liter Duratec, which is coming with 89 horsepower and a larger 1.6 liter Duratec unit, generating 104 horsepower. On the diesel side, we can find the 1.5 liter engine, which is developing 74 horsepower the 1.6 liter unit which is coming at 94 horsepower.
The new Ford B-MAX will be made at the company’s plant in Craiova, Romania, and the model is expected to hit European showrooms this year. More details on the Ford B-MAX will be announced close to the model’s launch.
